King 98 album launch

South Africa-based Zimbabwean rising star Ngonidzashe “King 98” Dondo is set to launch his debut album Francesca at Wingate Golf Club in Harare today.

The launch will be graced by two top regional music stars, Nigerian music icon David “Davido” Adeleke and celebrated South African rap superstar, Nasty C.

Apart from the international artistes, the launch will also feature an array of local artistes, among them ExQ, Nakai, Tammy Moyo, Shashl, Union 5 and wheelspinner Silence Dosh.

The concert’s advance tickets are available at all Jan Jam shops, Chicken Hut outlets and online on www.clicknpay.africa and are selling for US$10 general, US$20 for VIP, and US$50 for VVIP.

Pink and Purple Season 2

Thembie Phiedarh becomes the latest member of Onvi TV as she has been named the season 2 presenter of Pink and Purple.

After the end of season 1 Onvi TV advertised for auditions and various ladies from all walks of life responded and  attended the auditions hoping for a chance to be the host of the show which airs on ZBC every Wednesday.

Productions for season 2 are already underway and people can hope to see it soon.

The Pink and Purple TV Show seeks to give women a platform to shear their stories and inspire other women. Empowering girls and women is one of the core aspects of Pink and Purple. Women empowerment is key to economic growth, political stability and social transformation.

‘Homecoming’ Documentary Comes With a Surprise: A Beyoncé Live Album*

"Homecoming", the Beyoncé concert film documentary that dropped on Netflix Wednesday, arrived with a little (or not little) surprise in tow: a two-hour, 40-track live album, available for immediate listening on all major music-streaming services.

The hefty new record, titled "Homecoming: the Live Album" and featuring recordings from Beyoncé’s headline performance at Coachella in 2018, as well as a handful of re-recordings and fresh tracks, came out shortly after midnight Pacific Time on Wednesday morning, with streaming services like Apple Music promoting the cover art just as Netflix was promoting the film; East Coast fans stumbled upon it in a 3 a.m. daze.

But while the album itself was a secret, its drop — surprising, lengthy, widely available and bundled with a major film project — represents everything we can expect these days from new music projects.

The Netflix concert film— written, directed and executive-produced solely by Beyoncé, naturally — is a carefully constructed combination of her performances from Coachella 2018’s two weekends, interwoven with intimate footage from the months of rehearsals it took to not only re-train her body post-pregnancy but also to see her complicated vision come to life. While the behind-the-scenes footage is only a fraction of the total film, Beyoncé is refreshingly candid about the hard work that it took to put the shows together.

The most trending designs and style have been showcased on the internet as well as fashion and beauty shows were we see new "in thing" as defined by the youth It is inevitable to talk of fashion in the absence of celebrities. However, following these celebrities has also made it difficult for people to lead their normal lives because fashion doesn't last long, it actually lasts for a particular time then something new comes into play. Fashion and beauty have been all about new designs which have brought about entertainment especially to designers who want to invent new ideas and techniques of designs where anything is made possible through creative fashion designs. PRINCE KAYBEE'S NEW ALBUM LAUNCH

Prince KayBee is yet to launch his new album at the Cosmo Politan Night Club in Bulawayo on the 30th of April.

The well known producer Price KayBee crafts sounds ranging from clubby gqom to the-defacts Mzansi soundtrack-of-the-moment-to the edge of tech-house.

People are really eager to hear his new album since the last one was a hit. His last album compeised of songs that hit the with a bang such as Banomoya with Busiswa and Club Controller.

ZITF SHUT DOWN

All roads lead to Queens Sports Club where we are going to witness the biggest shutdown of all times. People are really looking forward to this event as all advance tickets have sold out.

This year its going to be different and fun as the biggest artists in the country will be sharing the stage, the likes of Jah Prayzar, Winky D, EXQ, DJ Skaiva and many more.

These artists rarely come to Bulawayo at the same time, i guess this year it’s an exception.

House DJ Skaiva said he cannot wait to share the stage with the legendary EXQ to perform his single that is in EXQ tseu tseu album.

Zimbabwe International TradeFair (ZITF)

It is so fortunate that April is the birth month of our country. Zimbabwe turned 39 years last week Thursday which makes April a special month to every citizen in Zimbabwe as we all celebrate our independence as a country. This gives Trade Fair an opportunity to unite everyone to their grounds in recognizance of various companies and individuals who come in huge numbers to learn from each other through innovative ideas and conversations which gives everyone a platform to talk to companies they want to engage with. Fortunately, Trade Fair does not only cater for adults but everyone from kids to an elderly person which brings out the fun part of it.

Where is entertainment at ZITF?

The ZITF has been there for years offering entertainment for everyone despite their age, race, language and nationality. Since I was a child I would always crave to go to ZITF because I believed I had a right to witness all entertainment programs that would be offered by various companies at play. The fun part of it is that it comes once and at one of the most boring times of the year because it would be a holiday where we would be idle at our homes if we didn't go for holidays. we would get painted, eat yummy and sweet things like cotton, ride horses, get in an aero plane, train and police bikes, and most surprisingly hold bullet-less riffles and the list is endless.

Right now as a young adult I have come to learn that ZITF is not only for entertainment but its the face of the future where opportunities open up for the brave and business minded individuals who leave the place having benefited a lot from just walking around and talking to businessman and other company representatives. This has also come to teach me that ZITF is not only entertaining to children only but also to adults who find It fun to explore and learn new skills and techniques from various companies. Companies and people from different angles of Zimbabwe and others from outside the country come to witness the event which is very interesting as people get to meet different individuals as well as prominent individuals like the President and other ministers who we only see on television.
